A: As one of the webmasters for Greenfield News and Hobby I conform their web pages to our client's specifications. As with any business, the preferences of the client come first. Most business owners have a vision as to how and what they want their web site to look like, and although we offer suggestions to our clients, ultimately it's the client that we have to satisfy. [C. M. Smith - Web.Development]

A: Exchanges are possible within 30 days, provided the item was purchased from our store, you have the original dated sales receipt, and the item is unopened. All exchanges are handled on an item by item basis by the store owner or on-duty manager. Please read our Returns Policy for further clarification.

Q: Same Subject, Next Question - Rather a pitiful selection of merchandise considering most other Internet hobby shops offer their entire store inventory for purchase on-line! When are you going to get out of the stone age and and offer web visitors a better and bigger selection? (J. Atkins - Knoxville, TN.) A: Our store computerized inventory program now has over 720 manufacturers with over 102,000 individual product item entries. To make a similar inventory available over the Internet requires an ISP that hosts the necessary program file extensions, has fast server computers and the requisite database capability. At some point in the future, we hope to expand our web site and it's capabilities thus offering an expanded selection of products.
Q: I live in Norway and want to bid on one of your Ebay auction items. Will you ship overseas? A: We prefer to have all of our Ebay listings designated for sale and shipment within the United States Only! We Do Not Exclude registered overseas Ebay members from bidding on our listings. However, it has been our experience that shipping and handling costs to foreign countries can often exceed the item's selling price. If you are the winning bidder on our auction item, we will endeavor to establish a reasonable shipping method and cost to your location.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account, so how do I purchase an item from your web site? A: PayPal accepts all major credit cards, thus allowing anyone to purchase products using an Internet connection, browser and a valid credit card. We use PayPal exclusively for all web site sales transactions.
Q: Why do you use PayPal instead of accepting regular credit cards over the Internet? A: We Accept all major credit cards in our Greenfield, Wisconsin store, and use PayPal since it is an integral part of our combined Ebay and Web Site product listings. Makes things easy for on-line shoppers. For a further explanation as to management's decision to use PayPal, read our privacy policy.
Q: We've noticed that many of your web pages use different colors for the foreground, background and text. Why is this? (B. Anderson - Muskego, WI.) A: Our web design / web-mastering service is in the process of upgrading all site pages to reflect our new Internet look. Many new features have recently been added that offer site visitors better service, and the ability to purchase store products on-line. A: Yes, we are a brick and mortar retail merchant that takes the Business of Servicing Customers, both in our store and on the Internet, Very Seriously! But, we also look at life as another matter - With the serious nature of today's world, I feel that a little humor and levity can go a long way in lightening that daily burden. If we can bring a chuckle or smile to someone each day, then our use of silly pictures are well worth the effort. Jay Gordon - Owner, Greenfield News and Hobby
